Webinar Agenda:

About the Webinar:

Testing the bandwidth performance of a WAN or LAN network can be done in many different ways. One of the most simple and straightforward is to use iPerf. In this webinar we’ll show you how to use iPerf with an on-premise as well as a public iPerf server.

In this webinar we will:

- Demonstrate JPerf, which is the GUI version of iPerf

- Demonstrate how to use iPerf on the command line - you can use iPerf on Linux as well as Windows and MAC hosts.

Before the webinar, please download JPerf from here or iPerf Version 2 & 3 from here (if you need help with the installation before the webinar email info@netbeez.net)

We’ll be sure to keep a slow pace during the live demonstration so that everyone can follow step by step.

If you have a Raspberry Pi or an old Linux box, this is a great opportunity to put them to work!

Helpful Notes:

Jperf on MAC:

  1. Download Jperf
  2. Doubleclick to untar
  3. From the Terminal navigate to the un-tarred directory
  4. chmod +x jperf.sh
  5. brew install iPerf
  6. In the terminal run ./jperf.sh

Jperf on Windows:

  1. Download
  2. Extract
  3. Move to directory and run jperf.bat
